If you are planning to replace or add capacity to your system, the AMAX® stand-alone product line can reduce DX tonnage required, so fewer additional units may be required, reducing capital equipment cost and subsequent operating cost.
AMAX equipment qualifies for many federal and state tax deductions and utility rebate programs.
How it Works
AMAX IDEC™, Hybrid™, and Hybrid DX™ deploy pre-cooling technology to increase the effectiveness of evaporative cooling. Supply air is pre-cooled in a “cooling tower,” using evaporatively-chilled sump water. Depending on load requirements, the base unit may have an indirect cooling water coil and compressor cooled coil added.
1. IDEC maximizes energy-saving potential of evaporative process by means of indirect / direct evaporative cooling in a dual-stage system.
2. Hybrid uses all the technologies in IDEC and adds an indirect chilled water coil to increase effectiveness.
3. Hybrid DX adds a direct compressor coil to the Hybrid model, for optimal comfort and economy across geographies in all climate conditions.
